If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they're available through the Rehome program - the safe, reliable, and free way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I adopted Peanut from a rescue in Florida when she was about 8-10 weeks old. She was the runt of her litter so the name fit her perfectly! Peanut has never really liked other dogs but she grew up with her big brother a black lab and they get along together great! She has a lot of energy and loves to be outside! She is a huge cuddle bug and loves to burrow herself under the blankets in a little ball. Now to why I feel we need to rehome her. This has not been an easy decision and is something I never thought I would have to do. My dogs, cat, my daughter and I all live with my parents in a townhouse with her dog included. Even with frequent walks Peanut just has too much energy and I feel she will do better somewhere that she has room to run. Additionally, Peanut doesn’t really like my daughter which has made things difficult. She is a super sweet dog but I feel she needs to be in a home where she is the only dog and one with no small children.
