Mama Roxie is about 2 years old. She had a liter of 11 puppies in January of 2022. Mama Roxie is now ready for her fur-ever home. She is spayed, UTD on shots, dewormed, potty trained, and microchipped. Mama Roxie is a super sweet girl that needs a lot of attention. She has separation anxiety and craves a lot of human love. She can be a bit timid at first but after a short time, she warms up and is a total love bug. She gets along with other dogs, cats, and birds. We haven’t done any adoption events but do plan to this spring/summer. We are looking into our first event which will be Battle of Athens which is in June. If anyone is interested in any of our dogs, we have them come to our facility, which is also our house.

More about this rescue
We are Vanguard Animal Rescue and ran by myself, Christi LaRue and my husband of 23 years, Darren LaRue. We have always owned dogs and taken dogs in that were lost and found either their original homes or new homes. We decided to be more official and open our own rescue and do what we love most which is help animals in need. We live on 6 fenced in acres and have multiple locations on our property for animals. We currently own 6 dogs, 2 cats, 2 goats, and lots of chickens, ducks, and turkeys. We also currently have 19 rescues that are available for adoption as well as 2 that we are holding for 2 homeless men that are getting their lives back on track.
