My story

Mitch originally was found pregnant and lost, just looking for help while she had her babies. She really is a very sweet cat but because of everything she went through living outside, she is very afraid of other cats and dogs but is very loving with humans. She would do best being the only pet in the house.

Go meet their pets

Our available pets are on Adopt-a-Pet and our Facebook page: Stray Hearts Animal Rescue@strayheart.org
Visitors can also see the life-saving work we do in the heart of Eastern KY in Appalachia.

Since we are in a rural area, in order to reach more adopters, and save more lives, we offer transports to Lexington and other cities and areas in KY. Pets are s/n and vetted. If
the adoption does not work out, we will always take the pet back.
