My story

I am so happy to be out of the shelter and searching for my forever family. I am a southern gentleman with so much love to give. My name is Max but my foster mom calls me Maxamillion and Maxima because she thinks I am the best. I am a 2 year old beagle mix and weigh 35 pounds. Just the perfect size to snuggle you up. I am a good boy in my crate and keep it very clean. I love to run and play fetch and am working hard to learn my manners and commands. I can sit like a good boy and working on shaking. I can’t wait to meet my new family. I have been fostered with lots of different doggies since busting out of the shelter, and my favorites are the ones that love to play! I am UTD on all vaccines and am Heartworm negative. I will be waiting in Dauphin, PA for you to meet me!

We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt our dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
