Winnie is still in rescue, long after her and Pooh made it to the shelter. She hopes to find her family soon!

She is a 2 year old Boxer mix! Winnie is a 47 lb sweetheart that has been waiting for 2+ months to travel to PA and now almost a month in PA! She had heartworm treatment and has tested negative since then. Winnie has the soul of
a great dane, as she loves to be close and leaning on her people for affection. She appears house and crate trained. Winnie is dog and kid friendly. She loves to play and would love a solid play partner. We suspect small dogs and cats would not tolerate her play. Winnie is spayed, current with vaccines, and fostered in Harrisburg, PA

We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt our dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
