My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This gorgeous girl is Spring and she is a happy friendly gal with a wonderful temperament! Spring is young and happy as can be. She has made many friends with the other dogs at her foster and she is great with people, too. She has the most beautiful coat with gorgeous dark ears and some unique soft spotted markings - this striking girl turns heads wherever she goes. Spring was a great momma to her three pups and did a wonderful job raising them. We found out about her in the nick of time - she and her three puppies were almost euthanized at a very crowded Alabama Animal Control. They were picked up stray, never reclaimed and the shelter was too full with incoming dogs to hold on to them any longer. Luckily a kind visitor to the shelter called us to ask for help for this beautiful family, and they were transported to safety to their foster. Spring is now fully vetted and ready for a home of her own! She is a playful happy girl who can't help but make you smile :) She loves attention and affection from people, and she enjoys playing with other dogs. Spring would love a furever family of her own - she would do fine as your one and only, or with another playful male dog for her to bounce around the yard with. Spring did well meeting cats and she walks nicely on leash. She's just a terrific companion, done with her fantastic job raising her beautiful babies and ready to find a great family of her own!

NYS Registered Rescue # RR102

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
