My story

Catherine - was unclaimed stray from city pound, now available for adoption. Originally she was emaciated, but with lots of TLC from the DAWG volunteers she is now a happy, much fitter dog and she is doing well with her leash skills. Nice mid-size dog, currently in foster home. Catherine can be selective about her doggy friends. If you have another dog, a meet-and-greet is strongly recommended. She is not cat-friendly. She will do best in an adult-only home or a home with older, dog-savvy children. No small children or small child visitors. To make an appointment to meet Catherine complete the online adoption application at www.denisonanimalwelfaregroup.org/adopt MUST COMPLETE APPLICATION -- NO PHONE CALLS, EMAILS OR TEXTS $75 adoption fee includes spay surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations and microchip. She did test POS for heartworms and has been treated. Adopter will need to keep her on heartworm preventive medication and recommend re-testing in 6-9 months at their vet.
