My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We think Bolt was taken out of the county shelter in 2018 and adopted out to a family by another rescue. Only 6 years old there was an accident where a hand was bitten twice over the last 4 years and now Bolt has it on his record. Bolt was adopted but returned and we are looking for a home with no children. We were told the bites occurred due to toy or food but our trainer has not found that to be true. He has taken both right out of his mouth with no issues. We are looking for a family that knows these breeds and will understand him. He is already a favorite of our volunteers and his old adoptive family has asked us please to find the right home for Bolt. 49 lbs and 8 years, please contact us if you would like to meet Bolt.
He is extremely food protective so we need an adult family that understands about this behavior.

We have an application process, a yard check, a meet and greet with any existing animals, and a contract. Our adoption fees are anywhere from $150 - $300 depending on the age of the animal and the amount of medical treatment we provided for the animal prior to going up for adoption. We also have a Senior for Seniors program where we offer a significant discount to any senior citizen wishing to adopt a dog or cat over the age of 7.

We serve Las Vegas, Nevada and Henderson, Nevada. We may adopt to a neighboring state, however we do not transport our animals. The adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the animal prior to adoption.

We have adoption events every Sunday at the Petco located at 8495 W. Warm Springs Road, Las Vegas, Nevada 89113. We are there from 12 - 3. If there is an animal you are interested in meeting, please email us so we can ensure they will be present at the event. We have close to 60 animals at all times, and not all are able to attend our event.
