My name is Sapphire! I get along GREAT with other kitties. Dogs should be ok too as long as they are friendly I towards cats. I should be ok with older kids. I am fully dewormed and vaccinated, tested negative for FELV/FIV and spayed. I love to play and watch TV! I may be a bit shy at first until I get to know you, and then I am as sweet as can be! I am fully vetted and I am 9-months old as of the end of March 2023.

All of our adoptable cats are FeLV/FIV tested (if six months), up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated, and spayed or neutered (if twelve weeks).

Local Whiskers is at the New Freedom Farmers' Market the first Saturday of every month from May through October. Come see our adorable kittens at 150 East Main Street, New Freedom, Pennsylvania.

To schedule a Meet and Greet with a cat that your are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and, once approved, you will be contacted by one of our fosters to set up an appointment.

Local Whiskers, Inc. is an all volunteer, stray cat rescue located in York County, Pennsylvania. We are dedicated to helping abandoned and stray cats/kittens by providing quality foster care, while finding them a loving, forever home.

We are not a shelter, but we care for our adoptable cats/kittens in foster homes.
