My story

BRAVE's name is purrfect for this cat. He was rescued from living on the streets of Kuwait by some good Samaritans. Seeing him fending for himself in such bad physical condition must have been heart wrenching.

Brave is an older male who is definitely part British Short Hair. When rescued he had dirty matted medium hair but now that he is cleaned up and shaved you can see the BSH in his face and body. This breed is highly sought after in the Middle East for their appearance and demeanor.

Since being with his foster mom he has had blood work, 7 teeth pulled, vaccines and all vet care. His appetite has improved and he is starting to show pep in his step by trotting around the foster cat room looking to play with a toy. He can be a bully to the some of the foster cats but not all...we think he should be a solo cat but with the right cat as a companion he would be fine and actually relish a buddy. We will work with you on introducing him to another feline in the home.

He sure loves to snuggle with his foster mom.

Please open your heart up to an older cat who has really suffered in his life...his journey has been amazing with so many volunteers helping along the way. All he needs now is a forever home to show his love and gratitude.

Go meet their pets

We are a foster home based rescue. During the current pandemic we are not always able to have in-home visits with kittens and cats, so are offering a trial period in their new home before adoptions are finalized. In limited circumstances and until the pandemic conditions are safe, limited foster homes have approved adopters meet cats in their foster homes. We are often able to provide videos or other means of meeting cats and kittens.
