My story

Meet Lupita!

Lupita is a Chihuahua mix girl who is approx. 10 years young.  She was pulled from a local shelter.  She was overweight when she came into rescue, and has been working on her "girlish figure" with some daily walks and a healthy diet.  She has been doing great and needs a family who is committed to continuing with her health journey.  She is dog friendly, and would do best in a calm home without small children (older children are ok).  She is house trained, and walks well on a leash. She has been thriving in her foster home and is now ready to meet her furever family.  She is a sweet girl, who can't wait to find her furever home!

Plese apply by submitting an application on our web site if you are interested in adopting her:

Go meet their pets

Our rescues are with fosters on the east coast. The location in which the foster resides should be listed with each profile. We are setting up some adoption events now, but are free for private meet and greets if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets!

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going. We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
