My story

Meet Socks!
Socks is a male 9-10 weeks old Shepherd/Cattle dog mix.

Socks and his family were rescued from the Madera Animal Shelter. He is a happy, very loving, social puppy who loves to play with toys and get lots of love and affection. He is very treat motivated and a fast learner. Socks does great sleeping in his crate over night and is working on his house training. Fostered in a home with kids and other dogs, Socks would do well with children 6+, would probably do fine with cats, and would love a dog friend/role model in the home.

Plans for continued puppy training, positive exposure, socialization, R+ training, and a lifetime of love are a must for Socks!

$500 donation includes first shots, dewormed, Micro chipped, and neuter agreement addendum.

Ideal home will:

- Have experience raising puppies AND OR commitment to training/willingness to learn

- The time to commit to all things puppy w/ solid plans for puppy socialization, positive exposure and continued training; commitment not just to puppyhood but to a lifetime of love, care, companionship and vetting

- Preference to homes w/ friendly & well-trained dog role models (preference, not required)

- Preference to homeowners w/ yards (preferred not required)
