My story

Ever seen a natural dober-girl?! Not only is Lapis au naturel, she is also a super goofy gal who loves people of all sizes and ages, and also other dogs! A cat free home is a must for her. Lapis knows basic commands, does well on a leash, and in dobie fashion is extremely intelligent. Her perfect day includes lazy time on the couch, going for walks, having a job to do, and learning new things. Lapis is currently free range in her foster home, but is also comfortable in a kennel. If you're interested in this gorgeous girl, fill out an app and let's see if its a match!

Why adoption is a great option

Lapis, a Houston Doberman Pinscher/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
