My story

***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org***

Lou is a whole lotta kitty!  Born early 2020 Lou has matured into a very long, very hefty boy.  He is not over weight at all just a lot of cat.  Lou loves to be where the action is!  If there is something going on he's right there.  If there is some one in the room he's all about checking them out.  Lou would love a home as the only cat so he can soak up ALL the attention for himself.  Lou would do great in about any setting with a single person, couple or family with kids.  In his eyes the more humans....the more pets!  Lou is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.  This handsome hunk will be the purrfect addition to your couch, bed or windowsill!

Go meet their pets

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
