My story

Hi, I'm Ellie! I don't want to brag, but I've been told that I'm a pretty awesome dog. I'm good on a leash, am great in my crate, and have never had an accident in my foster home. Some things I really like... couches, watermelon, wearing my jammies, going for walks, snuggling up under the covers, and getting attention from humans. Oh... and I LOVE tennis balls. Some might call it an obsession. Don't be surprised if you see me taking a tennis ball on my walks or sleeping with a tennis ball in my mouth. I'm looking for a home where I can love and be loved, have comfy places for me to take my snoozes (psst... I really like fluffy blankets and pillows), and have an abundance of tennis balls.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is quite simple. We ask that you complete an application on our website DigsK9.org. We are a foster based organization so special arrangements can be made for you to meet the animal you are applying for. After review of your application we will follow up with either a phone interview or a home visit. If everyone agrees that this would be a successful adoption than we make plans to finalize it.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers dedicated to rescuing and providing sanctuary to abandoned, stray and neglected dogs. We are not a shelter as all of our rescued dogs live in foster homes where they are given enourmous amounts of love and attention while they await their forever home. Many animals are overlooked or forgotten and our goal is to give them a second chance on life and home to be loved in.
