Look at those ears! And he has the most beautiful silver eyes!! So handsome! Austin is a happy, fun-loving 11mo old male Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix that loves balls, fetch, and treats! He is shy at first when meeting new people, but once he knows you, he will be your bestie forever. He is still learning to trust people, but when they give him lots of treats when they say "hi", he starts to feel much more comfortable. He gets along great with his foster doggie siblings and would be happy to have someone to play with in his forever home. But he's ok being the center of attention too! He wants to run and play every chance he gets. Right now he is busy gaining weight, eating lots of nutritious food, and healing from a skin disorder, which is going very well. He sits calmly when it's chow time and is housebroken. Austin goes into his crate easily with a treat. He will whine a little for the first few minutes but soon quiets down and sleeps through the night without a peep. His favorite place is next to you on the couch! He enjoys walks and is good on a leash but will need continued guidance. He knows "sit". This boy would be an awesome hiking buddy or up for any adventure you may have planned for him.
