Misha is a 1 year old female who is fairly new to our rescue. She is a little timid and reserved when meeting new people but very friendly and vocal around other dogs. After she got fully vetted and spayed, she was quickly adopted out but unfortunately ended up being returned to our rescue as her high energy level was not a good match for her adopter. She also needs crate training, someone who understands a dog that has not been crated, and has the time, patience and knowledge to get her comfortable in the crate. We also offer assistance with crate training, by Loose Leashes Dog Training in Ormond Beach.
Considering Misha's needs, energy level and temperament, other high energy dogs in the household are a must and we will NOT consider first time German Shepherd owners. Misha needs love and care but she also needs structure and discipline which comes with experience with the breed.
She is an excellent companion to take out on adventures, would be an awesome dog for a single person who likes to go out a lot as she is easy going and well behaved in public places, but she will also make a great pet for a busy and active family with older kids.
