My story

Burt is around 3 years old and weighed in at 57 lbs. He is a sweet boy who really wants to be a part of your life. He does have enough energy to make him a great hiking partner. He does seem to know "Sit", but really needs someone who can be consistent with the command so he knows he has to obey the command. This boy is smart, but needs someone who likes a higher energy dog. Schnauzer's are intelligent and get bored easily, so training can be a challenge. Burt will be great for someone who knows the breed and understands these traits. Agility would be a great sport that Burt and his person(s) could enjoy. Burt is available for adoption now.

Why adoption is a great option

Burt, a Springdale Schnauzer (Giant)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Giant)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Springdale, or seeking a Schnauzer (Giant)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Springdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Giant)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Schnauzer (Giant)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
