Hello there! My name is Miss Priss and I am a sweet 10-year-old gal who weights 35 pounds. I do need to lose a bit of weight according to my foster Dad and I think he is probably right, but I don't want to talk about that. My foster Dad has actually put me on this thing called a diet (I thought that was only for humans!) and I have actually started losing weight. I am now a slimmer girl at 29 lbs., but he says I still need to lose a little more. I am a sweet girl who is calm and low key but can also be quite peppy and even a little feisty now that I have lost a few pounds. Priss likes to play tug of war with her foster Dad but hasn't quite learned the rule of engagement with other dogs. She currently has two foster siblings in her foster home and has taken to the bow and hop invitation to play or indulge in tug of war but is still learning how to play well with others. I love going for walks and am a great cuddler. I will curl up next to you on the sofa or in bed and I have a very soft snore that is very endearing according to my foster Dad. I am crate trained, house trained and love to nom-nom on certain stuffies that have grunts and squeaks in them. Priss is also fascinated with squirrels and birds! I am a great companion and would probably do best with a more mature person or couple, though I love meeting people of any age. I am a gentle and polite lady who would love to be part of your family.
Miss Priss has a growth on her rear leg that will require surgery once she reaches her goal weight, just a few more pounds to go. If you are interested in Miss Priss, more information will be provided.
My adoption fee is $75.00 but if you are over 65 my adoption fee is waived due to our senior for senior program.
Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts!
