My story

Son of Penny and sibling of Duke

Hi! My name is Bo! When it comes to play, count me in 100%. I love playing with every single toy my foster mom has introduced to me, but I especially love playing with my brother, Duke! We love to be silly together and it makes my foster mom laugh. We would love a home that decides that both of us can be adopted together! We'd make twice the fun!! My foster mom says I am such a good boy, and so smart, because I always us the scratching posts and not the furniture, and I haven't made a mistake outside the litter box since I have lived with her. If you think my brother, Duke, and I would be a match for your home, we would love for you to come and meet us!!

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We also have cats online on our website or adoptapet.org. Some cats may be in foster care, but we can arrange to have the available to meet

Submit Application

If you'd like to adopt a cat or kitten, great. We love finding them forever homes. Complete an online application on oue website

3.

Approve Application

Once your application is approved, we will ask you to sign the adoption agreement and pay a nominal aoption fee.

Texas CARES' cats and kittens ARE NOT FOR SALE. Cats and kittens are adopted by completing an adoption application that will be reviewed by the Texas CARES volunteer staff. Potential adopter(s) will be notified of the status of their application. This process can take 48-72 hours. Applications for adoption can be obtained from a Texas CARES volunteer or found on our website: http://www.texascares.org/adopt Adoption fees may be tax deductible donations.

Texas CARES is a non-profit, no-kill animal welfare organization. Our all-volunteer group provides shelter and veterinary care for homeless and unwanted cats and kittens in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth and surrounding areas. Our cats and kittens are rescued from local "kill" shelters and desperate public situations. All are cared for in foster homes until they are adopted. Texas CARES was established in 1992 and is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. All of Texas CARES' funding comes from donations and fundraising events. Our Goals: *To find permanent homes for our animals *To educate the public about responsible pet ownership *To educate the public about Texas CARES *To recruit volunteers and acquire support *To save more lives
