My story

Meet sweet Lola girl โค๏ธ
Man, does this girl have my entire heart. So much so, that even the thought of her leaving this house absolutely kills me, but in the best way possible.
Lola came into FYH in December as a parvo pup from County. She was super sick, but only showed pure joy. Even at her sickest, she kept her tail wagging and personality at a 10. Lola truly is a ray of sunshine and I have never seen a dog give so much love in my life!
That being said, Lola does have extreme food and environmental allergies. She will need to be on special prescription food and allergy shots monthly, and also has an extreme case of acid reflux that we are currently trying to resolve with the help of FYH vets. She is also a sensitive white pittie that will require sunscreen and protection during the summers. As most White Pitties are, she will most likely be a dog that requires more of a financial commitment than most, but worth it none the less!
Lola is right under 1 years old. She is an extremely high energy puppy that will need training and a committed, experienced & patient adopter. She needs someone super active and ready to explore with her. She is fearful of new places and will need to continue to be socialized consistently.
More About Lola:
๐Ÿพ 50lbs
๐Ÿพ Extremely High Energy
๐Ÿพ Leash trained, Kennel Trained, and knows Basic commands (Sit, Down, Place, Stay, Leave It, โ€œKennel,โ€ Etc)
๐Ÿพ Amazing with other Dogs
๐Ÿพ Amazing with kids, but does jump out of excitement (Recommended over 8 years old)
๐Ÿพ Must Sleep in Bed with you (She requires not as a want, but a need ๐Ÿ˜‰)
๐Ÿพ (We assume) Came from an abusive household, and needs someone that will work patiently with her and her fears.
๐Ÿพ Loves snuggles and giving kisses
๐Ÿพ Food is the key to her heart!

More about this rescue

The Follow Your Heart Foundation is committed to preventing the unnecessary euthanization and abuse of abandoned and/or abused animals. In order to fulfill this mission, Follow Your Heart will engage in the following activities: Foster Program-Animals will be rescued from shelters and placed in temporary foster homes to save them from being euthanized. During this time, animals will be provided with proper nutrition, shelter and analysis to determine appropriate long term housing. Adoption Services - the organization will work to find each animal that is rescued a forever home that is willing and able to make the long term commitment to a family pet. Public Education - Abuse, neglect and irresponsible pet ownership leads to thousands of animals being killed each year. One way to combat these issues is through continued public education to not only raise awareness about animal abuse, but also promote responsible pet ownership. Medical Treatment - Animals rescued will be provided proper medical treatment as needed.
