AGE/GENDER: 6 year old male

BREED: Cocker Spaniel

TEMPERAMENT: Friendly, active, affectionate

WEIGHT: 30 pounds

HOUSE TRAINING: Good!

CRATE TRAINING: TBD

OTHER DOGS: Good! But he does resource guard his food. He could stand to lose a little weight...

CATS: Unknown

CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 8 and older

ADOPTION DONATION: $500

HEALTH: Ed Harken is neutered, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines.

Your adoption donation goes toward offsetting the cost of this vet care as well as other incidental costs of care.

HISTORY: Ed Harken came to us from a rescue in Mexico. He was surrendered by his former family through no fault of his own. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find Ed Harken a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do!

NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Ed Harken has all the great attributes of a Cocker Spaniel! He is great on a leash, house-broken, and friendly. He is an active boy who loves to explore and go on walks. He loves to be with his people and give doggy kisses. Ed loves to play fetch or just entertain himself with toys. He sleeps well in his crate when he knows his people are home, as he is happiest when he is with his humans.

All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar (or a harness, if necessary), depending on each dog's particular needs. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of brochures, coupons, and supplies for your new pup!

ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO:

Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue! We are a rock and roll themed, volunteer-run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA.

Motley Zoo is a FOSTER BASED organization, which means our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes (or partnering pet stores) where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. We do not have animals available for casual viewing and same day adoption. Due to the volunteer run structure and decentralized/ virtual  nature of a foster based group, an approved application is required to make an adoption appointment for any of our animals.

If you are interested in one of our Adoptable Roadies, please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application (the auto-responder also has a link to our application). We will work toward getting you approved as an adopter so that we can set a time for you to meet your new best friend!

Motley Zoo also runs "Rock Star Treatment Dog Daycare" in Redmond, WA where proceeds from this service, help support our rescue's vet budget- however, this is NOT a shelter. For more information about daycare or training, check out www.rockstartreatment.org.

Please visit our website www.motleyzoo.org for more information!

Thanks for considering adoption- we look forward to helping you find your best match in a furry friend.
