Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pixie came to us a couple weeks ago as a rehoming from a family up north. I thought she could be a good addition to the other Shiba I adopted in January, a young male.
From the moment they met, my male Shiba had an issue.
I was told that Pixie liked to be in her crate, but I didn't think that it might become a necessity in order to have the two dogs get along.
The family told me that Pixie was very sweet and loving and she sure seems that way. It's my dog that appears to have the issue and I can't seem to fix that and nor do I have months to try. I believe Pixie will do best in a house with only one dog, but I really don't know that for sure. I think I would prefer that she goes to a home where there aren't any existing animals, and a home that doesn't intend to get any additional animals. I would hate for her to have to go through all this stress all over again.
She had a cat buddy in her last home that she tolerated. They had two small children that she seemed to get along with
