This beautiful boy was surrendered his elderly owner was no longer able to care for him.
Ok, we've had this boy in rescue for a while. Here's what we've learned:
He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES toys. and will steal them from other dogs and will fight over them. VERY TOY POSSESSIVE.
He is not a fan of the kennel, but will go inside one to eat and to sleep. But his new family should be prepared to use baby gates to restrict access. NOT a crate/kennel.
He gets along great with both males/females/adults and puppies.

Per owners daughter;
He is physically healthy and social with cats, adults, older kids and most of the time dogs that he knows, but he does not get along with toddlers or family members dogs. I think that maybe the aggression that he shows towards the grand babies our family members dogs seems to be jealousy. He seems to act out more whenever he feels he is not receiving enough attention. Examples are Stealing their toys, growling and peeing in the middle of the living-room etc. He has never been mistreated or threatened by our relatives pets or kids so that is the only thing that I can think of. My mom tried to kennel train him as well bc after 6 years he has yet to transition from puppy pad to outside, but inside the kennel he will bark nonstop. I don't know anything about training dogs, but I do know that my mom can't train him and it stresses her out. I'm hoping that you know someone who can. His name is Rocky.

He needs some training and some manners!! He is a beautiful little boy who has been well vetted and well loved. He might do best as an only dog. We'll assess his personality and update as we learn more about him.
