It’s hard to be a kitten without a momma, but luckily this little guy and his two siblings were taken off the street as orphans at about 3 weeks old and brought to a local shelter. The shelter then reached out to Texas CARES in search of a foster home. Tempi and his sisters weren’t old enough to eat solid food, so needed a foster home that could bottle feed and provide lots of TLC.
Tempi adjusted well to foster care, and has been a happy, healthy boy the entire time. He is social and full of energy. He spends most of his day playing with his foster kitten friends, so will need to be adopted into a home with a feline buddy, or as a pair with another kitten. He also gets along with the resident chihuahuas so would do fine with a kitty friendly dog as well.
Tempi isn’t much about being held and cuddled when he’s fresh awake. Once he’s had his fill of diving in and out of the cat tunnel, scaling the kitty tower and vanquishing his fuzzy mice, he will come find his human or a kitty buddy and cuddle in for a nap.
Tempi is litter box trained, combo tested (negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia), microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. Estimated birth date is March 17.
