My story

Chase is the last pup left from the Paw Patrol litter. He is almost six months old now and is just the best boy. He has wonderful house manners, crates well overnight, and plays great with dogs of all sizes. He is house trained to a doggy door and has no accidents in the house.

We were told mom was about a 25 lb Jack Russell Terrier mix but they shared a picture and she seriously looks more like some kind of hound mix (beagle cross maybe?) No one had any idea what breed or breed mixes the dad might be, so we can only guess at what adult size they will be. If they take after mom (and dad wasn't huge) we had guessed the puppies would be medium size adult dogs. At not quite six months, Chase is 38 lbs and his growth rate has slowed a lot so we do not know that he will get much bigger. Our best guess would be under 45 lbs -- but that is still just a best guess.

If you think you might want to give this handsome boy a home, please email and we will send you an application, or visit our website: and download one. Adoption fee is $250, which includes neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, parasite treatment, and microchip with lifetime registration.

Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters.

Why adoption is a great option

Chase, a Gallatin Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Gallatin, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Gallatin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gallatin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gallatin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gallatin paves the way for another one to be saved.
