Hi my name is Felicity I am approximately 3 years old and weigh 45 pounds. I am a very sweet girl that is a bit timid at first but once I am comfortable with you, I open up and love to be with my people. I can be very playful and need a lot of exercise and stimulation… typical hound in me that loves to sniff and smell the roses. The shelter staff say I can be very receptive and I catch on quickly, but I can be stubborn when it comes to leash and command training, also typical of a hound, so they say! While I was in my short-term foster home the humans said that I understood when they did not like my behavior and even said that without training I was becoming more understanding and more obedient even in the short period of time I was with them. I just need to understand exactly what the humans want from me and I am quick to learn to do it… especially when there is a cookie at grabs! I am very affectionate once I get to know you and love the cuddles and belly rubs. I am good and attentive to kids and good with other dogs (although I can be an intense player) and even cats that ignore me. Felicity originally came to Paws4You from a high kill shelter and was adopted but was recently abandoned while she came to stay for boarding. The humans said that they couldn't keep her anymore due to 'allergies' and 'lifestyle/job' changes. At no fault of her own, this girl is ready to find humans worthy of her! Adopt Felicity!
