Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet "Copper Unchained" as we affectionately call him. That's right, this sweet beautiful boy came off of a 6ft chain tied to a house where he lived for over a year of his life. We would have no part of that and with the help of a good samaritan Copper was surrendered to rescue where he is thriving!!!!!! Oh we DOOOOO LOVE Copper!!!!!!! He is our class clown!! Always happy happy happy!!! Copper loves to play with other dogs (after proper introductions) and soaks up any people attention he can get. He loves training sessions because he thinks they are ALL about him!! This sweet boy is loving, travels well in the car, loves water, hiking, walks. Copper must have a family committed to him being a member of the family included many activities. He must have space to run, an active lifestyle and someone who loves to practice training to keep him brushed up on his skills. Copper takes a few moments to know another dog but once he knows them he is their BFF. Looking for a family who will never let this uber sweet boy know another day of loneliness or abandonment ever again. Copper has been around cats and does love them but be prepared, he will want to play with them. He thinks he is a cat to when playing and may end up on top of your cat tree. With that said, Copper is uber attentive, loves to hang out with you no matter what you are doing, and "does" just chill out when it is supposed to be down time. He is crate trained, walks well on leash, comes to his name, knows leave it, sit, down, stay. Copper will be a huge loving part of the right family!!!
