Sylvia came to us when her human daddy was put on hospice. She has not adjusted to life in foster care. She has been with us for quite awhile with very little improvement. We really feel if she could get into a quiet home with a very patient human, Sylvia may come around to being her old self again. Sylvia is being fostered at Feline Foster Farm in Chuckey. You can call them at 423-426-1467 or email them at tundrawolf0870@gmail.com.

Potential adopters will be asked a few basic questions to ensure they are fully aware and accept the responsibilities of owning a new pet. A $60 adoption fee will then be collected. Adoption fee includes, but is not limited, to the following; vet exam, deworm, core vaccinations, rabies vaccination, and spay/neuter. Some of our furry friends have had to take medications, have surgeries, or other procedures to make sure they are at maximum health upon adoption. Some have been microchipped and that information will be provided to new adopter. Preferably, all pets will be kept inside. However, special circumstances, such as a big farm or yard, will be considered. Remember, these pets came from bad situations. We don't want to put them into another one.

More about this rescue
Hi, My name is Jammie Britton-Shipley, founder of Cat's in The Cradle: A New Life Sanctuary. What started out as a passion for helping animals has now grown into a 501 (c) (3) state certified rescue organization. While most of our temporary tenants are kittens and cats, occasionally we do foster a few dogs at a time. Each kitty (and doggy) is vet checked, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and remains on my farm until they find their furrrever home.
