ADOPTION PENDING Meet Millie. She is a 1 year Maltese who weighs about 12lbs. She came to us this week when a family was being evicted from their home. We took her straight to the vet to be examined since she was limping on her back leg. The vet found an old rubber band that was embedded in her leg :( It was successfully removed and Millie is now such a happy girl. Millie doesn’t see a stranger and absolutely adores children! She would do best in a home with at least one older child to run and play with. Millie is not 100% potty trained but does use pads and go outside both. She is in desperate need of a groom and that will be done as soon as our groomer can fit her in. Millie loves dogs of all other sizes but can be excited around cats so she’ll need a cat with previous dog exposure if there’s one in her new home. She’ll also be spayed, be up to date on shots, heartworm tested, given a fecal exam (dewormer if needed), microchipped, and current on flea preventative.
