My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Our website is updated daily

Dawson is absolutely stunning and came from an accidental litter of 13. NAR took 4 pups and the mom. Dawson would benefit from an experienced hamster home that can work on his social skills. He is scared/timid from not having enough taming time.

DOB: March 12, 2022

Adoption fee with approval: $15

Hamsters are crepuscular creatures. Like many other mammals, hamsters are more likely to be awake and active at dawn or dusk. This isn’t to say that some hamsters don’t ever stay awake all night. Much like humans, individual hamsters have their own sleep patterns. They aren’t all awake and playful at exactly the same time. This does mean you may not get quality time with them since most won't wake up until evening/night time.

More about this rescue

Northeast Animal Rescue is a local group in Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, dedicated to saving homeless, unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that depends solely on donations which are tax deductible. Our mission is to focus on having feral (wild) cats spayed and neutered to decrease overpopulation. We are very small and do not have a shelter but our cats and kittens are placed in foster homes. In the process of helping ferals, we come across cats and kittens who are friendly and placeable. These cats and kittens receive medical attention with the help of local veterinarians, and when ready, they are put up for adoption. We also do some small animal adoptions.
