Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I stumbled across Birdie posted on Craigslist a couple of months ago. She was 4.5 months old and had spent her entire puppyhood in a small yard with her 2 sisters and her mom and dad. Because Birdie missed out on the very important socialization period of her young puppyhood she has some deep rooted fears. Birdie was thankfully raised with some siblings and her parents, so she does very well with any dog she meets! But she is very scared of strangers, loud vehicles (especially trucks), and really anything "unnatural". Birdie thrives outside on hikes, at the park, or at the beach. She loves open spaces to run and be her wild, playful, puppy self.
Unfortunately, living in a small apartment with no yard in a very residential area, I'm unable to give Birdie the peace and space that she needs. Every short walk to go the bathroom ends up flooding Birdie with all her fears!
I want to find Birdie a home where she can thrive and continue to learn about the world.
