My story

Yippee, it's Petey! Petey just explodes with love and kisses every time you go to cuddle him! He is a young dog, but for his age, he has a very calm demeanor. He's the biggest cuddler and would love an owner just as loving as he is! Petey is the best of both worlds, because along with loving a nice comfy nap with you, he would equally enjoy a nice walk to explore outside or maybe some playtime in the yard! Petey is very easy-going; He is great with all people and does well with other dogs. He is just a dream!

More about this shelter

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies. CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
