This lovely boy is Shamrock, who is ironically, down on his luck! He was found out and about with his buddy, Valerian, on 5/19. Valerian was adopted quickly and sweet Shamrock was left behind missing his best friend. Shamrock was a bit shy and depressed without his buddy, but with time and love from the volunteers he came out of his shell! Fast forward to the end of June when Shamrock was finally adopted and thought he had found his forever home! However, Shamrock and his new 4-year-old human sibling didn’t quite hit it off and he’s back at the shelter looking for a better fit. This boy may be a bit much for young kids, but he’d love to find a family with another dog to play with and maybe teenagers who aren’t so scary to a dog who may never have been properly socialized with kids. Someone along the way took the time to teach him a few manners because he does know sit and lay down. Shamrock is super affectionate and seeks out touch. He walks incredibly nicely on a leash and doesn’t pull at all. He is quiet in his run and keeps it tidy since he is housetrained. Did we mention that he has the best wiggle butt in all the land? Please come take a chance on this amazing pup...you won’t regret it! The 3rd time’s a charm, right?
Shamrock is approximately 3 years old and weighs 60 lbs. He is current on his vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms. Can you turn Shamrock's luck around? Please come meet this sweet boy in run 859, his ID # is 636548.
