Bailey was purchased from a pet store on Long Island. We were told he’d be a “great apartment dog” and “has kind of a lot of energy” so I can “take him on runs with me.” Evidently, he’s not built for an apartment, nor a busy household with land. He’s got endless energy. He’s athletic. He’s extremely protective and won’t let a single noise in the house go unnoticed. He’s beautiful and playful and wouldn’t hurt a fly. We just can’t take care of him with a baby on the way, given the work that goes into taking care of this dog. We both work full time and simply don’t have enough hours in the day to properly care for him. He deserves a patient and loving family, with time, energy and appreciation for this dog’s breed.
