My story

Rosie was found as a stray and taken in by a good Samaritan. She is a low maintenance kitty who likes nothing better than to relax in a sun spot. Bonus points if she has a cat tree. Rosie also enjoys curling up on your lap. Rosie is a calm and quiet cat and is the ultimate couch potato. She won’t drive you crazy with zoomies at 3:00 in the morning or swatting around toys for you to step on. If you’re looking for a sweet and gentle girl that just wants to hang around, Rosie is the one for you.

Rosie is up to date with routine shots, litter box trained, altered and micro chipped

Why adoption is a great option

Rosie, a Barrington Hills Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Barrington Hills, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Barrington Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Barrington Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Barrington Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Barrington Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
