His cuddly nature makes him the perfect companion for a movie night on the couch or a quiet evening with a good book. Archie is selective with his dog friends, showing a preference for human companionship. He`s fantastic with kids, often becoming their playmate and protector. Archie`s friendly and playful nature, coupled with his love for children, makes him an ideal family pet. His cuddly side will provide comfort on tough days. By adopting Archie, you`re not just getting a pet, you`re gaining a loyal friend, a playmate for your kids, and a comforting presence in your home. More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
