Nova is incredibly personable and wants to be with "her human" all the time. She loves to be cuddled, chill in a lap, and sleep in your bed or your arms. She will meow if you leave her alone, and will be a fantastic companion to anyone! She's amazing with kids, and doesn't mind being played with and handled by gentle little hands. Nova has beautiful black and brown tabby markings, and is on the smaller side.
Sweet, cuddly, playful & energetic. From the "Bobblehead" Litter named for their chubby cheeks and round heads. Super cute! They resemble American shorthair cats but we make no claim as to breeding since these are all rescued cats. Raised in a busy home with older children and other cats. Will be available by mid-June. We have a high demand for our kitties because of our exceptionally high standards for medical protocol and socializing. Even our veterinarians have chosen to adopt from us multiple times.

By private appointment in Rocklin, CA area, at Bark Avenue Rocklin or foster home.
APPLICATION:
Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs if we think it's a potentially good match.
INTERVIEW:
An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time.
APPROVAL:
If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files.
TIME FRAME:
Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days.
WHY:
Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you!
