My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Benson and Esme are 2 little dogs that need a home. We would like to place them together. Esme is the tan/white gal and Benson is the tri-colored guy. Esme is about 8-9 years old and Benson is about 6 years old. Both have been vaccinated, altered, wormed and have had a dental. They are crate trained, house trained, and are learning to walk on a leash. We want them to be adopted into a home that is fairly quiet. Once they are comfortable they will run around, jump in your lap, bark at things, and play with toys. They need a securely fenced yard. Also, hopefully an owner that is home at least part of the day. In order to adopt you will need to have a good vet reference and be comfortable with someone doing a home check at your home. There are two small dogs in their foster home so I think they will be fine with another dog in the home. They are so mild tempered and sweet they would probably be okay with a cat. Their adoption fee is $275 each. The adopter must be able to drive to the Houston, Texas area to get them. We hope that they will be adopted out in Texas, Oklahoma, or Louisiana where we have a volunteer network.
