Trout, born mid-March, doesn’t mind being held and will purr when touched. He will follow you around the house and climb up to be around you. Trout wants to cuddle and nap all day, preferably on your lap or neck if laying down. Trout is always in the same room as humans and will follow you from room to room. He is comfortable with multiple and new people. However, Trout also is independent and likes to play with paper bags. Trout is a tree cat and likes to climb up to see and survey everything. He will go off on his own to drink from the water fountain and play in the water fountain at times. He is unsure about kids or pets, but he does not like the vacuum or loud noises and will cautiously watch. He is very well trained with his litter box. He’s the most independent of the three litter mates and will play with them but then go off on his own or hang with the people. He’ll also sleep on his own when it’s too hot.
Please see our website at https://ohlonehumanesociety.org/fostering-and-adoption/ and click on the ADOPTION APPLICATION button to submit your application, and let us know if you are looking for a particular kitten. We will let you know as soon as our Kitten Foster Program Manager reviews the applications received.
All of our kittens must be spayed or neutered in our care before adoption can be finalized. Due to the decreased availability of spay/neuter services, a kitten may be in our foster program for a longer period receiving shots and medical care before being placed with an adopter. Kittens require a $130 minimum adoption fee to help us fund our program.
We are looking forward to your application submission.
