My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adopted 9-3-23! He'll have 2 doggie friends!

2-3 years old and about 15-18 lbs. He came to us in late May 2022 as a stray - he is now neutered, vaccinated, microchipped. He came in shy and nervous, but he has bonded with the volunteers and other small dogs. Loves being held and cuddled by his people. Doesn't like the leash and prefers being carried. Can be aggressive with dogs over treats but is fine otherwise. Afraid of cats.

He will be nervous in a new home, so he will need patience and to be allowed to developed at his own pace. Lots of treats will help - he's even eaten fruits and vegetables here! *It's recommended for any new dog that they be given a 2 week adjustment period of getting used to the home and to not meet strangers or go on outings yet.

A breed app found the breeds dachshund, schnauzer, and jagdterrier.
