My story

Everyone, this is Luna, our 7 month old Shepherd mix. Isn't she adorable! She is a street survivor in Tijuana where she was sadly mistreated and abused. Thankfully she is now safe and sound with a loving foster here in Southern California. She is amazing with all humans, big and small! She loves to play. She’s still working on walks and being potty trained with her foster. Luna’s just an amazing puppy. Would you be interested in opening your home and your heart to this sweetheart? Please contact us if you are! Adoption process needs to be 100% approved.

Why adoption is a great option

Luna, a Downey Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Downey, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Downey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Downey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Downey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Downey paves the way for another one to be saved.
