My story

Meet Styles...he is a young male terrier in need of a new home. He came in as a stray and was not claimed, so he is now available. He is friendly and energetic! He seems interested in other dogs and does ok sniffing through the fence. However, we have not officially tested him. If you would like to meet him please visit the Taylor Animal Shelter. Our new hours are Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. We are closed from 11:30am-12:30pm for lunch. Then we open promptly at 12:30 pm and continue operating until 3 pm. We will be open on Saturday July 9th and July 16th from 9 am to 1pm. Please come visit and bring home a new companion! We are located at 25555 Northline Rd. We will also have extended hours July 11-15 to 7 pm.

Why adoption is a great option

Styles, a Taylor American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Taylor, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Taylor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Taylor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Taylor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Taylor paves the way for another one to be saved.
