My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Teddy is a 20lb, 8 month old Sheltie/Mini Aussie mix. He is a sweet, happy boy who enjoys other dogs and people. Teddy is active and requires a fenced backyard for him to burn off his energy. He is very affectionate and likes to be pet while cuddling on the couch. He will lay his head on your lap and give lots of kisses! His favorite activities include running around the yard, playing tug of war, and going for a walk. After all that fun, Teddy will curl up in his bed to take a nap. Teddy is timid around new people and dogs at first, but his personality really shines once he feels comfortable. Teddy is currently living with two other shelties and gets along with them great! He will be just fine in a home with other dogs. We are not sure if he has ever been around cats, but he has never show aggression toward other animals. Teddy loves to be around his family and will do best in a home without young kids. He is very playful and could knock little ones down. He would do great with older kids who can play with him safely. Teddy is mostly potty trained and will go to the back door when he needs to be let out. He is also kennel trained and working on his leash training. Teddy is very smart and is starting to learn basic commands like “sit” and “down”. He will do well in a home that practices positive reinforcement training. Teddy is up to date on all his shots and is neutered.
