My story

Please note that we are a TX based rescue that transports our dogs once they are adopted. All our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org

Mateo - I don't shed, I emit magical fibers of joy and love!!

Owning a husky is not for everyone but if you're considering being a first time husky parent here are a few "good" and "not as good" traits to consider.
Huskies are good natured, very outgoing and friendly. They have a playful, cheerful personality with just a dash (or 2!) of mischief thrown in. They love to see what kind of shenanigans they can get into and will keep you on your toes. Life with a husky will never be dull.
They are very intelligent and have a great desire to please their people. Huskies need to be provided with plenty of exercise to keep them satisfied and the shenanigans at a minimal. Teaching them to carry a backpack on hiking trips gives them a sense of purpose and saves your back!! Now that's a win win situation. And of course, huskies shed a lot! A brush and the vacuum will become extensions of your arms BUT there is nothing like being on the receiving end of a husky's love!!!!
This handsome dude is in need of a home. He is super sweet, good with other dogs and loves to be the jokester, guaranteeing to keep a smile on your face. He is waiting for you fill out his adoption application and welcome him to be a part of your family!!!
