Tiny is a just great gal who loves attention. She has moments of wanting to be playful but mostly she's just a sweet, lumbering gal who loves belly rubs and being brushed. She's truly a gentle giant kind of dog.
On her outings in public, she gently greets strangers and politely asks for a head scratch.
She is quiet at home and out. She does not jump up on people but rather lies down in hope of a belly rub. She rides wonderfully in the car.
She seems great with meeting dogs on the street, at the park, in Petsmart, and at the vet's office - she really pays no attention to them -- she's more interested in people's love. She doesn't feel the same about cats, unfortunately. But every dog has a weakness and this truly is her only.
Tiny's owner died and she was left alone in her backyard. She lived most of her life on a chain and treated the porch as her indoor space, always careful to potty only in the yard.
All Tiny is missing is a place to call home and one that will allow her to be an indoor pet with lots of love and care.

To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.
We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $300; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.
***Reduced Adoption Fee - $150***
***Fostering is FREE***
