Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Waffles was adopted from us when she was a young puppy. She was recently returned due to her adopter being unable to afford her veterinary care. Waffles has IVDD, a diseases very common in dachshunds. She currently has full mobility and is not in pain. However, she should not jump on/off furniture or use stairs indefinitely. This will help prevent a "flare up". Her adopter should also keep her at a healthy, lean weight. She is overweight now and is on a diet.
Waffles is good with male dogs and ignores cats. She does not like female dogs. She is house trained, crate trained, and pee pad trained. We think she would be fine with kids over the age of 12.
