My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rip was wandering through a rural area - tiny, emaciated, dirty, and scared. He showed up on a porch, screaming for help. We were contacted and took him in as a 3-4 week old kitten. Because he was undernourished he was given supplemental bottle feeding. Currently he is very attached to his bottle and holds it with his own paws. Rip loves his food and is a big eater, trying to catch up to he age peers in weight. He is gaining weight but will not be neutered until 6/22, when we feel he should be at weight for anesthesia. Rip was kind of traumatized by his experiences and is very clingy to his foster family. He needs a home where he can receive a LOT of positive attention. Rip loves to be held, carried, and to sleep right next to people. He gets along with the other cats and dog in the foster home, but he craves human contact. Rip would be ideal for a single, couple or a family with lots of cat-loving school-aged kids. He is very needy for human contact.
His neuter and first shots are scheduled for June and after a few days recovery he will be ready to go home. He will do well with any type of INDOOR home who likes lively, adorable, affectionate kitties.
