My story

Meet sweet little Max! Max is just 3 years old and is feeling a little skittish in the shelter environment. Poor guy! He’s just not feeling at home here and can’t wait to feel the structure and love from his new family! His previous owner said that he was friendly towards children and other dogs, he’s an all around great guy! He just needs a hero that can see his potential. We know he has the potential become the most wonderful dog. He’s cute too by the way. He’s got those cute little white feet and great ears. Max isn’t lacking in soulfulness, be careful when you look in his eyes. You just might fall in love, we hope you do!

Additional adoption info

Come visit us at 1818 N. Westmoreland Rd. and meet our wonderful adoptable pets! Our adoption fees are low, with adoption specials all the time to encourage adoption over other means of acquiring an animal, and to bring people into the shelter. Fees at https://dallascityhall.com/departments/dallas-animal-services/Pages/Adoption-Fees.aspx When coming in to adopt, please bring your drivers license or other state-issued photo ID, and, if you rent, a copy of your lease showing that pets are allowed. Please print out our adoption application form from https://dallascityhall.com/departments/dallas-animal-services/Pages/adoption.aspx and fill it before coming to our shelter. We have our application in English and Spanish. If you forget to bring it, we will have applications at front desk.
