Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing Little Bear!
This little guy has had quite the journey with us, but he’s a very sweet 3 years old and all of 8 lbs! Little Bear recently had surgery to fix both of his knees, but he’s recovering well!
Little Bear is shy until he gets to know you and would do best in a quieter home without chaos and loud situations. He does get along great with cats and his cranky chihuahua foster sibling, but what he loves the most is to snuggle with his person!
Little Bear isn’t super good with the leash right now due to his recovery, so he would do best with at least a small fenced yard while he learns. He also prefers carpeted areas as they are easier for him to navigate while he’s finishing his recovery!
Prior to his surgery Little Bear was quite the dancer so we expect to see that joy come back as he continues healing! Due to his surgery, Little Bear will have a few more follow up visits with his surgeon to ensure his recovery continues on track. Due to this, we are looking for a home in the Raleigh/Durham area so that he can easily get to these appointments! His next one is in a month, but he’s already been cleared by his surgeon for adoption!
He is neutered, UTD on shots and on HW preventative.
His adoption donation is $300.00.
If you are interested in the above dog, please do not email us and tell us that you are interested, but submit an adoption application. The link for the application is below.
To submit an application go here……chihuahua-rescue.com/adoption-application/
An application must be submitted and approved before a meet-n-greet can be scheduled.
Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative.
Reference checks and a home visit are required so SE dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD and GA
